"Self Esteem and Self Confidence - Let your Creativity out!" by Karl Perera
If you realise your creative potential you will be happy and increase your level of self esteem. In this article I will explain the importance of being creative and how developing your creativity will benefit you.
You have a creative urge within. We all do. Don't ignore it or you will feel you are "cheating" yourself. Find time to satisfy this deep need within yourself.
I took up oil painting about five months ago. It was something I had always wanted to do but somehow I never found the time. I decided to make the time. Now I have five paintings to show for my efforts! I am very happy with these and when friends comment positively on them, guess what? I feel happy and my self esteem has received a boost. Others are confirming I have achieved something, I am special and have a talent I have newly discovered. I always suspected I had this talent now I have proved it but the most important is that I have proved it to myself. Maybe I can even achieve greater things!
Maybe you have talents and you don't know about them yet. Maybe there is something creative you want to take up. Don't delay - you can find the time - it's worth it!
If you suffer from low self confidence you may even tell yourself that you won't be any good and so it's not worth bothering. You need to get over this and try everything. Low self confidence is your enemy. I recommend you to read my review of a great self confidence course I found very helpful - its free! After you sign up for the course you'll receive it within minutes so click now!
Go for it! Try your creative hand perhaps you'll surprise yourself! Even doing something just for the enjoyment of it is worthwhile because you are satisfying a need and therefore taking care of yourself. When you do this you are increasing your self esteem.
Besides, creative activity will provide you with an outlet to express yourself. Poetry, painting, music, writing and so on is therapy for the soul and mind!
So be creative. Whatever you choose to do will be time well spent. Its a good idea, though, to get instruction as this will help you improve and give you encouragement to develop your talents. Good luck your self esteem is going to be higher!
